Home

Basic

The home page provides quick entry to country portals and offers a clear overview of the platform, including navigation, key sections, data statistics, and the Sankey preview.

  1. Confirm you are on Home via the top navigation, and note available modules: Browse (countries dropdown) / Search / About / Manuals / LANG.
  2. Use LANG (top-right) to switch the UI language; navigation labels and page text update together.
  3. Enter a country portal via the Hero buttons (China / America / Japan / Australia), or select a country from the Browse dropdown.
  4. Scroll down to About Us and Data Collection to understand the platform purpose and data scale.
  5. In the Sankey preview, hover nodes/links to view tooltips and highlight related paths, helping you understand crop–country relationships.

New here? Start with LANG → enter any country portal first, then explore Search and other modules. This makes page entry points and data sections easier to understand.

Browse (Countries)

Navigation

Browse lets you quickly switch between country/region sites. Open BROWSE (Countries/Regions) in the top navigation, choose a destination, and you will be taken to that country portal where you can continue using Q&A, Graph, Search, and other features.

  1. Find BROWSE (Countries/Regions) in the top navigation. Hover or click to open the dropdown and view available country/region entries.
  2. Select a target country/region from the dropdown. You will be redirected to its portal (e.g., China / USA / Japan / Australia), and the active navigation state will update accordingly.
  3. To change the interface language, use LANG in the top-right. After switching, navigation labels and page text update together, and the current language is highlighted in the list.
  4. Enter features as needed on the country portal: Q&A for disease–pesticide queries; Graph to visualize relationships among crops, diseases, and pesticides; and Search / About / Manuals for retrieval, introduction, and documentation.

Tip: After entering a country portal, confirm the country and language first, then continue to Q&A or Graph.

Q&A

Interactive

Q&A is a chat-style interface for pesticide management questions. You can click a “Common problem” question on the left to start quickly, or type your own question and read the answer in the right chat panel.

  1. Open Q&A from a country portal (Q&A button) or from the top navigation, then confirm the current country chip/flag matches your selection.
  2. Start a question by clicking a preset item under Common problem (it will fill the input box automatically), or type directly in the message box at the bottom.
  3. Click the Send button (paper-plane icon). Your message and the assistant reply will appear in the chat stream on the right.
  4. Use Clear in the top-right of the chat panel to reset the current conversation view.

Tip: This page supports non-login mode and does not store personal data; connect your backend API to enable real answers.

Graph

Visual

Graph provides an interactive relationship view of the pesticide knowledge graph. Use the left panel to search a keyword and control query scope (Depth / Limit / Relationship Types), then explore the network in the center canvas. Click a node to view structured attributes and descriptions in the right “Node Details” panel.

  1. Open Graph from a country portal or from the top navigation, then confirm the current country chip/flag matches your selection.
  2. In the left Search Nodes panel, enter a Keyword, set Depth and Limit, and choose Relationship Types (All / Applied To / Infects / Treats).
  3. Click Search to load the graph. The Query Statistics card updates the number of returned Nodes and Relationships.
  4. Explore the center canvas: drag nodes to reorganize the layout, zoom/pan to inspect dense areas, and use hover focus to understand local connections.
  5. Click a node to highlight its neighborhood and open details on the right. The Node Details panel supports scrolling for long descriptions and extended attributes.

Tip: If results look too crowded, reduce Depth, lower Limit, or select specific Relationship Types to narrow the network before searching again.

FAQ

How do I switch countries or regions?

Use BROWSE (Countries/Regions) in the top navigation. Select a destination from the dropdown and the site will jump to the corresponding country portal. From there, you can continue to Q&A, Graph, Search, and other modules.

Why didn’t the language change everywhere after switching LANG?

Some sections may still display the default language if a translation entry is not available for that text. Try refreshing the page after switching LANG, and make sure the current language is highlighted in the language list.

What is the best way to capture screenshots for the manuals?

Use a clean browser window (no popups), keep a consistent zoom level, and capture the key area only (e.g., search bar + results, graph canvas + node details, or the main Q&A panel). Prefer clear, readable screenshots over full-page long images.

Where should I start if I’m new to the platform?

Start by choosing a country portal via BROWSE, then confirm LANG. After that, try Search for quick lookup, Q&A for question-style queries, and Graph for relationship exploration.

Graph looks crowded. How can I make it easier to read?

Reduce the query scope in the left panel (lower Depth, smaller Limit, or select specific relationship types). You can also search a more specific keyword, then zoom/pan to inspect dense areas.
